Dave began dabbling in magic and performing magic shows at school. At ten, he discovered a booklet on hypnosis, which began a lifelong interest for him.

On leaving school, Dave played guitar and sang in bands and shows around Australia. He used hypnosis to help other entertainers before widening his clientele to include sportspeople and businessmen. Dave pioneered the use of hypnotic focus for training vocalists and many of his students have gone on to successful careers.

In 2000, Dave began a series of hypnotic experiments, resulting in a new approach to hypnotic work, eliminating the traditional hypnotic induction and moving directly into the subconscious activation phase. This 'Direct Influence' model has been adopted by a
growing number of hypnotists.

An impromptu performance by Dave at a club in London rekindled his interest in magic and since then he has incorporated magical thinking into his hypnotic performances.

Dave’s specialty in OUT OF YOUR MIND is in using hypnotic INFLUENCE over his spectators to control the outcome of his performances. Dave is an expert in non-verbal communication and whilst he may not say as much as the other guys, you can be sure that each time he speaks he’s controlling exactly what he wants you to think.
