Richard’s experience in these fields spans 30 years. As an academic, Richard holds degrees in education. He has assisted teachers and thousands of students to apply simple, but effective techniques of memory and visualisation to their studies. His presentations captivate and motivate his audiences to discover and unlock their potential.

He has performed in over 30 live stage productions, and received numerous awards for both comedic and dramatic acting.  Richard amazes audiences with his sleight-of-hand abilities and is considered to be one of Australia’s top close-up performers. Around the world, professional magicians perform Richard’s creations.

Richard has been featured on radio and television. In 1980, he correctly predicted the headlines of two major newspapers, and successfully performed an underwater escape from 50 kilograms of chains & padlocks! As an enthusiast of science, memory, lateral thinking, optical illusions, and psychology, Richard is fascinated by the amazing way in which the brain deceives itself.  His unique blend of ability, talent and humour create a comfortable and relaxed, yet challenging and stimulating experience for participants as well as members of the audience.
